It's been a rough couple of weeks for the little bear, suffering through her first stomach virus. It hasn't, however, put a damper on that smile! We've been so busy changing diapers we haven't had a chance to post any new pictures - we are talking A LOT of diapers! Since we have always used cloth we had no idea how expensive disposables are - $50 in just TWO weeks!!! CRAZY. At least Teagan is finally pulling out of her illness, thank sweet baby Jesus! A few weekends ago we all participated in Teagan's first (of many to come) 5k fun run, the Fremont Brew Ha Ha. We couldn't partake in the real Oktoberfest, but it was still a good time.

Beach Fun
We decided to celebrate Teagan turning 7 months old by taking her to the beach at Golden Gardens Park. We coated her in sunblock and a huge hat since the poor thing is related to us and our milky skin. She absolutely LOVED it - didn't even flinch when we put her little feet in the ice cold salt water of the Puget Sound. What a trooper.
The Coho's are running!
We spent an amazing four day weekend showing Teagan what an amazing place Seattle is.
She's such a little sponge, taking EVERYTHING in. Check her out with the salmon at the Ballard Locks Salmon ladder .

College Memories
Fourteen years ago, Jen and I were living a few doors down the hall from each other as scared college freshmen in our dorm at the University of Montana. We lived together for the next four years. It's safe to say that we helped each other grow up. What an amazing gift it is to see one another after eight years with babies of our own. Her son, Henry, is just over 1-year-old. Jen, we can't wait to spend some quality time with your sweet family in Portland! And did I mention my amazing ex-roommate is now a DOCTOR!

Discovery Park
The three of us spend Labor Day tooling around Discovery park. Fall was already in the air! Crazy how fast this summer has gone.
