SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!

The snow is STILL coming down. Now for those of you that live where it usually snows don't laugh at our "little" storm because in Seattle this is HUGE NEWS. We were especially thrilled to learn that our neighborhood's premier sledding street, 65th Street (which they close to traffic when it snows), can't even compare to the alley next to our house. Someone built a jump about half way down which was most entertaining. Fortunately I had the excuse of carrying Teagan because I was actually scared to go down it. I snapped a few photos with my phone that I just had to share....Again, don't laugh at us those of you in Montana and Minnesota :) hehehe

10 months old!!! Time to cut the hair :)

Only 2 months shy of a year old! Can you believe that? Will and I are shocked at how fast the time has gone by. As you can see Teagan's hair has been growing like crazy lately so we decided it was time for a trim - just in time for Christmas. Good thing we have connections and our friend Natalie, who is a professional, was sweet enough to make a house call! It only took three of us to hold her still :) (Being that it was past her bedtime complicated matters a wee bit). But look at how cute she is now :)

Snow in Seattle!

Why is it that snow brings out the kid in everyone? Even Lewis and Clark joined in the fun - well until they started shivering like the weak and meek indoor cats that they are. I made a Teagan-sized snowman and she LOVED him. The snow angel didn't quite make sense to her, but overall she loves the white stuff!

The teeth have arrived! Or should I say tooth. Teagan's lower left front tooth has been working its way through her gums and made its first appearance yesterday! It's just barely on the surface, but we can already picture her with a mouth full of clappers! It's nearly impossible to get a shot of it, so instead here's one I took with my phone of her and her felow preemie friend Lucas - who also just got his first tooth. He was kind enough to share a nice cold chew toy with her :) It was like baby happy hour......Looking forward to a thick blanket of snow to play in tomorrow morning :)

Christmas Spirit...

Ho Ho Ho. Yeah, yeah, it's a little sick, but how on earth could we pass up the chance to pose with one of Santa's reindeer and sit on his sleigh. I think I'm just deprived of Christmas spirit since we decided not to put up a tree on this, Teagan's first Christmas. With her newly found mobility and curiosity we thought it would be a disaster waiting to happen. Guess she'll have to settle for Lewis and Clark and a couple pair of antlers....

This has been a BIG week for Teagan. She started by pulling herself up in her crib which we then had to lower to its lowest setting. She now climbs up on us like a monkey until she's on her feet - and if we stand her up at the coffee table she'll hang out there and coo as if she is the proudest baby! She's looking so grown up, it kills me!
