William Reid arrives at last :)
Almost!!!
Imitation is the best form of flattery, right?
It's a great day for an induction!CRAZY contractions started shortly after
the pitocin started. After 10 hours of long
hard labor I opted for an epidural...
Will, my nurse and my doctor were extremly
relieved that my mood was on the upswing,
in fact my doctor mentioned, as I began to push,
that I might be the first patient to ever
"laugh" her baby out, I nearly did!
The whole experience was AMAZING,
something I will never forget.
The long wait...
Grams and Teagan making the most out of the weeks and weeks of mama on bedrest. Grams was kind enough to be our "live-in" while waiting for Reid to make his appearance.
Girl's Night Out
Although on bed rest, my doctor allowed me one last night out! My also pregnant friend Betsy graciously gave Teagan and I tickets to Seattle's Nutcracker. The four of us had a ball and hoped not to go into labor while at the show :)
LEMON MAN!!!
We first saw "lemon man" in the Fred Meyer (a local grocery store here in Seattle) meat and fish department. Teagan somehow spotted them from about a mile away and started squealing "LEMON MAN". Of course all the old ladies in the dessert aisle nearly fainted from the comotion as I tried not to laugh. It was nuts. Here's Will's version of the little citrus wonder...
