A random visit

Will's old Yellowstone buddy, Adam, was visiting from Japan and surprised us with a visit the other day. Teagan warmed right up to him and his lady friend...Thought I'd share....

"NEW School"

Now that my maternity leave is in full swing, we have decided to take Teagan out of her 2-day/week daycare and enroll her in our neighborhood preschool co-op through the Phinney Neighborhood Association. She goes 2 days/week for a couple of hours, not a lot but at least it's something that she'll have for herself when this boy arrives! Because it is a Co-op I have to help one day and she goes alone on the other.

The room is extremely colorful and cheerful, there are 18 kids (ages 2-3) and the parents (all of whom are neighbors) are actually pretty great! I wasn't sure how much I would like the whole deal but I'm actually pretty amazed at how great it is, and Teagan LOVES it!

It's such a sought after Co-op that Teagan has been on the waiting list for over three years, (I think I put her on the list when I was three months pregnant!) It's really such amazing timing that they called us just as I'm home full-time again! I'm hoping that when I do go back to work a year from now we can continue...

MMmmmm. Celebrating a birthday.

Striping down at the sensory table is a popular activity.

Going on a leaf hunt...

That's August, our buddy on the day his mama isn't there.

More nakedness at the sensory table!

The BIG Slides!

One of our almost daily rituals includes a trip across the street to the BIG slides. They were built long before everyone started freaking out about liability and park safety - it's no wonder the kids flock to them! ha! Teagan has been going down the one on the right long before she turned two. LOVES IT!

Look for the little speck going up the tires to the left of the longest slide, that's TT!

"Up high Mama!"

Monkey girl :)

Saying goodbye to the "old school"

Final Dance Class

Friday has always been the highlight of Teagan's time at daycare, DANCE DAY! Since it was her last day, I snuck in to take a peek...

I love how she's book'n it in this shot! hahahah

So studious! (Notice the the girls on the outside, hahaha)

The Green Sheep

Took Teag's to her first taste of the Theater the other day. We count ourselves lucky to live in Seattle where we have a pretty amazing Children's Theater. Unfortunately we weren't able to take any pictures of the actual performance so here are some dorking around photos from before and after instead.

Her new "squinting" pose

Yes, I am a freakshow mama :)

And here is Angelica (Stella and Fiona's mama)

Also ran into Teagan's pals from the Swedish Hospital NICU, Emma and Mia

Good job Cole, hold up those sheep!

The Harvest

Our little garden has proven to be a success! It not only gave us enough greens to have fresh salads almost every night most of the summer but is now keeping Teagan busy about twice a week picking strawberries. Usually she gets one per harvest, but yesterday was especially bountiful - THREE!
