The Chick and the Stew

The fact that it was Halloween I figured it was a good day to try on the old uniform to see if it still fit, that and the fact that I had to fly the next day...

Charlie the Chicken, year two...

We made a special trick or treating trip over to "Aunt" Kathy's house which in turn spurred into an impromptu chicken and dog photo shoot :) The gorgeous father and son golden retrievers belong to her neighbors.

Halloween School Party

Circle time

Teagan would rather have her own story time

Little chicken having her first PEEP!

Poor babies have their own paparzzi to contend with.

All so well behaved

Johnny as Peter Pan, love the brown tights!

First day of "School"

And just like that, Teagan begins an adventure that will span the next two decades of her life...

If you look to the far upper left hand corner of this photo (where the leaves are), that's where her "school" is. You can literally see the building from her bedroom. It's in the old John B. Allen Schoolhouse built in 1918. She'll be going twice a week.

FALL

The air is crisp, the leaves have changed and the girl is growing up so fast! SLOW DOWN TEAGAN...but oh how it's my favorite time of year.

Marcus Eaton

How lucky am I to have been invited to a private acoustic show with Marcus Eaton the other night! AMAZING! If you haven't heard of him you need to check out his site! We saw him last year when he was touring with Tim Reynolds (TR3) and now I'm hooked. He's not only extremely talented but a very funny and awesome dude!

Playing Tim Reynolds "Stream"
Check out that hand!!!!!!!

I was hungry, what can I say :)

Shelby (the banana) Marcus and me!

Righty or Lefty?

Teagan received her new favorite toy during Gram's recent visit. Now the only question is which hand will it be?....

Tis the time of year for pumpkins

Farm country is only 30 minutes from our little city bungalow. We decided to take Teagan to a working farm that also does Pumpkin season shenanigans. She loved it all...that is all except the pony ride. We thought since she became a master horsewoman at the fair she would want to gallop alone across the field, WRONG....All and all we ended up with some fine pumpkins for carving!

PONY RIDING
Step 1: saddle up

Step 2: pretend like you are enjoying yourself
Step 3: NOT ENJOY YOURSELF!

Step 4: cling to Mama while she leads your pony

Step 5: Overcome your fears and get back on that hourse :)

Farmer T

I think she thought these pumpkins had saddles

The only way to and from the patch was a hayride, FUN!

The girl loves a gourd!

Not sure who's pumpkin she was "lifting" here
