She's into Music

The little one loves a crowd and a concert! Teagan rocked out to the Indigo Girls Sunday night. It was a gorgeous night for the Zoo Tunes concert. We were lucky enough to get a spot in the shade that happened to be right next to the voter registration booth. They were supposed to be non-partisan, but Teagan spotted an Obama sticker in one of their bags and sweet talked them into letting her wear it. At one point I could have sworn I heard a little 'Ohhhbahhhma" come out of her mouth :) Maybe she was just singing to Galileo...

The walk over to the zoo gave Teagie a sinker

still sinking.....

Finally awake and ready to rock!

Beating the Heat

The heat wave is finally over! Good God was it hot-in the 90's. Luckily we live on top of the ridge here and get a nice breeze at night, but without air conditioning it's pretty miserable. At one point I went to the grocery store and almost didn't come back! That ice cream aisle was heaven! Luckily Teagan wasn't too bothered by the heat. Just strip her down to her fuzzy bunz and she's a happy camper. She slept so much during the height of the heat that she hasn't napped for two days now!

So long sleeping wedge...hello big stroller!

Last night was a big night for our little Teagan. After a week of taking "flat" naps, Teagan slept her first full night without her reflux wedge! We checked on her a few times only to find her sleeping like an angel. Around 7am She woke us up with her usual happy chirping at the morning sun. I found her all the way at the end of her crib laughing and kicking her sleep sheep that is Velcroed to the end of the crib. She is a wiggle worm and is all over the place! We are thinking she has restless leg syndrome like her grams :) We are enjoying the days left that she's immobile b/c she will be a wild woman when those legs of hers work! The other big news is that she is LOVING her new running stroller (and so are we). Bop and GiGi gave it to us for Christmas last year and we have been waiting patiently for Teagan to be big enough for it. She's been on about 5 walks in it now and seems to LOVE it. She's able to face forward while lounging in the reclined seat. Everyone that passes us laughs at how tiny and silly she looks in the thing but she's happy as a clam! It's been so hot that she's finally wearing some of her new sundresses that Daddy got her :)

Teagan's Debut

Teagan was finally able to make her debut. "Aunt Kathy" threw her the best BBQ Bash ever with catering for a queen. Too bad Teagie only has gums b/c the ribs were AMAZING. She had a fabulous time at the "pre" and "post" party, but when the majority of guests arrived she was just too tuckered out to put on a smile. Oh well, I'm sure they will meet the happy-go-lucky girl we all know and love someday. All I know is that Kathy sure knows how to throw a party!

Look who flew in for the party :):) GRAMS

I finally started having fun after most people left!

Gi Gi and Bop (Grandma and Grandpa Schaffarzick)

I finally got to meet my Daddy's parents. I hear they traveled a long way to meet me, so I think they must like me. They came so far they even sounded different. I LOVED listening to my grandma talk and couldn't take my eyes off of her in the car :) We had all kinds of fun adventures while they were here! I had my first full day in the city, went to a restaurant for dinner (only the 2nd time ever), saw lots of animals in the Woodland Park Zoo and went for lots of walks. I do have to say that my favorite thing I did with my Gi Gi and Bop was playing with them at home. I tried so hard not to spit up on them, but for some reason I just couldn't help myself, sorry Bop!

I even impressed them by sitting in my Bumbo all my myself!

Why am I wearing handcuffs?

So long to the throne!

This morning I awoke to what has become the norm, little Teagie singing, laughing and talking to the morning sunshine. Our little one is growing up too fast! It's already time to begin weaning her from her reflux wedge. She's spitting up far less now and seems to do fine while she's playing flat on the floor. For now she just takes naps without her throne, but she's doing so well that she might spend a full night without it in the near future.

Daddy's Girl

Seattle must have known that it was Will's first Father's Day because it was the most beautiful day we've had all summer! The littlest one put on her Sunday best to celebrate with her Daddy in style. We ended up doing yard work most of the day, but at least one of us looked fresh and cute all day (Teagan that is).

Do I look like my Daddy?

Funny guy

Really funny guy

We now know who Teagan gets her "fake" smile from :)

The girl loves to chew!

Teagan isn't teething yet but she sure LOVES putting everything in her mouth! These were taken in the morning before Teagan's 4 month shots. Ohhh she wasn't happy after those. She's doing great though weighing in at 11 lbs 5.5 oz and 22.5 inches long.

Family Ties

We had a fun surprise visit with my Aunt Cheri and cousin Marshall the other night. The highlight was definitely meeting Teagan's 2nd cousin Devon. The only problem were the thousands of beer coasters on the restaurant ceiling that overloaded poor Teagie's visual senses.

The beer coasters were too much for Will and Teagan,
which is why they were outside when we took this photo :(

Devon really loved the camera!

Boy Meets Girl

Amy, my best childhood friend, flew in from California for a few days to introduce Teagan to her little boy Dylan (who is 15-months old). He was nearly 12 pounds when he was born, which is what Teagan almost weighs in these pictures. She was 11 lbs 5.5 oz at today's Dr. appointment.

Acting like were 12 again, some things never change

Scott joins Teagan in her favorite past time, eating her hands.
Dylan loved touching Teagan's head for some reason.

Big Boy :)
